Elementary General Teacher – Drummondville

About the role

We are seeking an Elementary General Teacher to join Drummondville Elementary for the 2026‑2027 school year. The position is a full‑time (100 % workload) regular contract with a special status (E2) reporting directly to the school principal.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general elementary curriculum to students at Drummondville Elementary.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans in accordance with the Quebec education standards.
• Assess student progress and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with the school principal and staff to support a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Valid Quebec teaching authorization (teaching certificate, permit, or provisional authorization) or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master of Teaching program at a Quebec university, with proof of enrolment.
• Or a bachelor's degree in a related discipline combined with relevant experience working with youth or adults.
• For foreign degrees, a comparative evaluation issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration.

• Salary aligned with the current collective agreement: $54 119 – $105 432 CAD per year (pro‑rated according to the contract percentage).
