Electrical Revit Detailer

About the role

Black & McDonald’s Electrical ICI team is expanding and seeks a dedicated Revit Detailer to join the Scarborough office. You will work closely with project managers and field teams to produce accurate electrical BIM models throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical installation drawings, details, and sketches from concept to construction documents using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with BIM/CAD detailers and project managers to ensure clash‑free 3D models.
• Update models in real time to reflect field changes, site conditions, and approved design deviations.
• Maintain accurate as‑built drawings and perform quality control using GPS and total‑station equipment.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between the model and field conditions to preserve constructability.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education related to Autodesk Revit & Navisworks.
• Familiarity with electrical construction products, installation methods, and building/electrical codes.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Self‑sufficient, proactive, and capable of managing as‑built data updates.
