Education Specialist - Curriculum Developer

About the role

Mercor is seeking an experienced Education Specialist to design and evaluate AI‑generated mathematical content. This remote contract position focuses on improving the rigor and reasoning of AI models through high‑quality curriculum development and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the accuracy and depth of AI‑generated mathematics content to enhance model reasoning.
• Review complex mathematical material for alignment with established domain principles.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality.
• Develop rubrics and benchmarks for evaluating AI‑generated mathematical tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure dataset consistency, relevance, and coverage.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while driving model performance improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in mathematics education or a related field.
• Proficiency in evaluating and improving AI models.
• Strong understanding of mathematical principles and methodologies.
