Early Years Educator – Full Time

About the role

The YMCA of Three Rivers is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our full‑time team in Guelph‑Wellington. You will plan and deliver a child‑centred program for children aged 0‑6, following the YMCA’s Playing to Learn curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement daily activities that support learning, development, and play.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Document child progress, attendance, and any incidents accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child’s experience and development.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to uphold programme quality.

Required profile

• Early Years Educator (RECE) or Early Years Educator (EYE) certification; Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) preferred.
• Experience working with infants and preschool‑aged children.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.
• Commitment to a full‑time, permanent position.
