Early Childhood Supervisor

About the role

The Early Childhood Supervisor will lead a team of educators and assistants to deliver high‑quality childcare programs for children of various ages. This full‑time, permanent position ensures a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key responsibilities

• Assess each child's development and create individualized learning plans.
• Design, implement, and evaluate child‑care programs that promote holistic development.
• Supervise, coach, and schedule 5‑10 staff members, trainees, and volunteers.
• Lead daily activities such as storytelling, songs, crafts, and outings.
• Order supplies, prepare snacks, and arrange rooms for meals and rest periods.
• Observe and document signs of learning or behavioural issues and report to parents and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a safe, healthy environment.
• Plan and coordinate before‑ and after‑school programs for school‑age children.

Required profile

• College‑level certificate or diploma in early childhood education or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a childcare or early‑learning setting.
• Strong punctuality, dependability, and teamwork orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, exercise good judgment, and maintain flexibility.
