Early Childhood Educator (ECE) – Full‑time Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our child‑care centre in Montréal. You will work directly with infants and toddlers, creating a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Assess children’s developmental progress and design individualized learning plans.
• Provide daily care including bathing, diapering, feeding, and supporting basic self‑care skills.
• Develop and implement programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
• Lead storytelling, song, art, dramatic play, and outdoor activities.
• Observe and document any learning or behavioural concerns and communicate findings to parents and supervisors.
• Collaborate with co‑workers, community service providers, and attend staff meetings.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment that meets health and security standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1‑2 years experience in a child‑care setting.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.
