Early Childhood Educator Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to support our educators in delivering high‑quality programs for infants and toddlers at our Surrey centre. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes children’s physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist educators in planning and implementing activities such as storytelling, songs, and crafts.
• Provide direct care including bathing, diapering, feeding, and supervising rest periods.
• Prepare snacks, set up rooms for meals and activities, and maintain a clean environment.
• Arrange furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• Support before and after‑school programs.
• Record observations and submit written notes on children’s progress to supervisors.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss children’s development and any concerns.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Dependable, team‑player with good judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• Willingness to work morning and day shifts.
• Commitment to youth employment initiatives and a non‑smoking work environment.
