E-Learning Developer (Articulate Storyline & Rise) – Remote Canada

About the role

We are seeking a Canada‑based freelance E‑Learning Developer to create engaging, SCORM/xAPI‑compliant learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise. The work is fully remote, follows EST business hours, and is project‑to‑project based.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain e‑learning courses that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to build interactive content using Articulate 360.
• Ensure courses are SCORM/xAPI compliant and compatible with multiple LMS platforms.
• Apply graphic design principles while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Set up meaningful reporting and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Conduct quality‑assurance testing and keep up with e‑learning trends.
• Assist with project planning, timelines, and regular communication with managers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Canada resident (T4) able to work 9 AM‑5 PM EST.
• Own laptop and an active Articulate 360 license.
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing e‑learning courses with Articulate tools.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail.
