About the role
Kingdom Team is seeking a reliable dump truck driver to join its transportation team in Brampton. This full‑time permanent position involves delivering goods safely while minimizing fuel consumption and emissions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and computer equipment to reduce fuel use and carbon output.
- Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy, loading, unloading and tarping cargo.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes and cold‑storage equipment.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and record hours, distance and fuel consumption.
- Communicate cargo details and status with central dispatch.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Valid AZ class driver’s licence.
- Ability to meet English language requirements.
- Prior experience in truck driving is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficient use of GPS navigation and other computer‑based routing tools.
- Performing vehicle inspections and brake adjustments.
- Executing emergency roadside repairs.
- Operating and securing tarps to protect cargo.
