About the role
We are seeking an experienced drywall taper to join our team in Edmonton, delivering high‑quality finishing work on residential and commercial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Apply successive coats of joint compound and sand seams and joints.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Smooth excess compound, allow it to dry, and tape over joints using a taping machine, embedding the tape in compound.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience as a drywall taper.
- Availability for early‑morning, morning or day shifts.
Required skills
- Drywall taping and finishing.
- Metal corner bead installation.
- Joint compound application and sanding.
- Operation of taping machines and use of trowels.
