Drywall Installer – Construction

About the role

Harveer Drywall Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our Calgary team. You will work on a variety of interior projects, installing drywall, suspended ceilings and decorative plaster elements. The role involves both hands‑on installation and collaboration with other trades on site.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall and ceiling work.
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and acoustic panels.
• Measure, cut, fit and secure drywall sheets to metal or wood studs.
• Apply tape and joint compound using a taping machine.
• Install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, corner beads and wire mesh.
• Erect scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms as needed.
• Work safely at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in drywall or related construction work.
• Ability to read and follow layout plans for walls and ceilings.
• Comfort working at heights and handling physical labour.
• Flexible availability to meet project schedules.

Required skills

• Use of hand and power tools for cutting and fastening.
• Operation of a taping machine for joint finishing.
• Installation of metal stud framing and furring.
• Erection of scaffolding and falsework.
