Document Processing Specialist

About the role

The Document Processing Specialist will prepare, format, and edit a wide variety of banking documents for Apertera’s clients. The position demands advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Format, edit, and finalize documents using advanced features of Microsoft Word and Excel, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
• Create complex structures such as tables, footnotes, headers/footers, styles, bookmarks, cross‑references, and tables of contents.
• Convert documents between PDF, Word, Excel, and HTML while preserving layout and integrity.
• Develop and apply macros and automatic numbering systems to streamline document creation.
• Implement client‑specific formatting requests, including layout adjustments and custom styling.
• Integrate data from Excel into Word reports and tables.
• Handle PDF editing and conversion, maintaining original formatting throughout the process.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in document formatting, complex structures, and multi‑level styling.
• High degree of accuracy and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• A degree in a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (styles, macros, complex formatting).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data integration.
• Expertise in Adobe Acrobat for PDF editing and conversion.
• Experience creating and using macros and automatic numbering systems.
