District Relief Pharmacist (Ontario) – Full Time

About the role
We are seeking a full‑time District Relief Pharmacist to provide direct patient care and supervise dispensary operations across multiple locations in Ontario. The role involves travelling to a wide range of stores, ensuring consistent pharmacy standards and supporting the pharmacy team in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense medications, counsel patients and deliver pharmacy services in accordance with the expanded scope of practice.
- Supervise the pharmacy department, open and close stores, and manage inventory, shrink and expenses.
- Collaborate with other health‑care professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
- Address emergency staffing needs and resolve customer complaints while on duty.
- Maintain compliance with company recall procedures and OCP standards of practice.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with paperwork and support pharmacy technicians and assistants.
Required profile
- B.Sc. Pharmacy degree (4‑year university program).
- Registered Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Injection and Smoking Cessation certifications.
- Proficiency with PC systems, Microsoft Office and pharmacy software (Kroll).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, punctuality and customer‑service orientation.
