About the Position

Join Island Health, a leading healthcare provider, as a Dispatcher within our Integrated Logistics Office. Main Missions

• Operate the VOIP telephone standard and public announcement systems for Island Health sites.
• Manage and utilize advanced communication equipment, including network-based two-way radio systems and Windows-based IT tools.
• Coordinate and execute various dispatching tasks for multiple departments within the Operations and Support portfolio.
• Play a vital role in the activation and management of all emergency codes across Island Health facilities.
• Apply logistics technologies and applications in strict accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and safety protocols within the logistics framework.

Profile Required

• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or a high-pressure coordination role.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive during emergency situations and critical code activations.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple communication channels simultaneously.
