About the role
Join our busy café team as a dishwasher, working part‑time in a fast‑paced environment. You will help keep the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, glassware and utensils are clean and ready for service.
Key responsibilities
- Operate dishwashers and manually wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, carts, mats and waste disposal units.
- Store cleaned items in the appropriate storage areas.
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, and handle cleaning products safely.
Required profile
- Efficient interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliability and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to handle physically demanding, repetitive tasks under pressure.
Required skills
- Dishwasher operation.
- Food preparation.
