About the role
The Mississaugua Golf and Country Club is seeking a seasonal Dishwasher, available on a full‑time or part‑time basis, to join its busy kitchen team. The role involves maintaining clean dishware, cookware and kitchen areas to support smooth service for members and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand.
- Restock cleaned items to their proper locations.
- Perform general kitchen cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out garbage and recyclables.
- Operate and maintain cleaning machines according to manufacturer specifications.
- Clean kitchen equipment such as steam tables, flat‑tops, hoods and ventilation systems.
- Assist cooks with basic prep work when needed.
Required profile
- Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment is an asset.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb and work in a hot environment.
- Organized, reliable and able to follow health and safety policies.
- Good teamwork skills and basic proficiency in written and spoken English.
