Dishwasher – Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable full‑time Dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen items. You will work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, ensuring that dishes, glassware, cookware and work areas are kept spotless and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils according to established procedures.
• Operate industrial washing machines and related equipment safely.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels and hand cloths.
• Maintain the dish area and kitchen workstations, ensuring all equipment is clean and functional.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food‑prep surfaces.
• Remove trash, steam‑clean or hose out garbage cans, and assist with loading and unloading supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including weekend and holiday shifts (typically 11 am–7 pm).

Required profile

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varied shifts.

Required skills

• Experience with industrial washing machines.
• Familiarity with silver‑polishing equipment (burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel).
