Dishwasher – Fast‑paced Kitchen Team

About the role

Stanley's Bar and Grill at the historic Stanley Park Pavilion is seeking an energetic dishwasher to join its busy kitchen team. You will help keep the restaurant and café areas clean and functional, supporting chefs and line cooks during fast‑paced service.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload commercial dishwasher, ensuring all items are spotless.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, walk‑in cooler, and storage areas.
• Assist Head Chef and line cooks with basic tasks and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Handle daily shipping, receiving, and distribution of kitchen supplies.
• Remove garbage, recycling, and waste to designated storage locations.
• Rotate laundry loads efficiently and liaise positively with the serving team.
• Follow HACCP and Food Safe requirements and all safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 lb and using a step ladder or stool.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
• Food Safe Level 1 certification (preferred).

What we offer

• Starting wage of $19.33 CAD per hour plus gratuities.
