Director, Technical Program Management

About the role

The Ethoca team at Mastercard is looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to shape and execute its customer experience strategy. You will lead multiple high‑impact initiatives from conception through global launch and transition to business‑as‑usual, partnering with senior leaders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan, and drive execution of strategic programs, ensuring alignment across cross‑functional workstreams.
• Establish governance frameworks, communication rhythms, and accountability structures for multi‑geography teams.
• Produce executive‑level status dashboards and serve as the single point of reference for program health.
• Maintain integrated schedules that capture internal and external dependencies.
• Apply product development lifecycle expertise to move ideas from proof‑of‑concept to market launch and BAU.
• Define success metrics, prioritize high‑impact initiatives, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Identify risks early, mitigate issues, and communicate true business impact.
• Champion continuous improvement in Agile and Scrum practices.

• Strong leadership of large, multi‑stream programs with clear governance.
• Excellent communication skills with senior executives and technical teams.
