Director, PMO

About the role

This high‑impact leadership position sits at the core of a fast‑scaling fintech that is modernising the mortgage industry with cloud‑based solutions. You will build and lead a strategic Project Management Office (PMO) that drives execution certainty across product, engineering and client‑delivery programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end oversight of a portfolio of cross‑functional programs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Design and implement PMO operating models, including governance structures, planning cadences and delivery frameworks.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks and deliverables, and proactively resolve issues.
• Lead resource management and capacity planning to optimise talent allocation.
• Develop executive‑level reporting dashboards and portfolio insights.
• Standardise project management methodologies, tools and best practices.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a fast‑paced technology or SaaS environment.
• Proven track record establishing and scaling PMO functions in high‑growth organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strategic, analytical and data‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with PMO tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet or Monday.com.
