Director of Professional Services

About the role

talentuch is seeking a Director of Professional Services to lead its implementation and consulting practice in Montreal. This senior leader will oversee the full project lifecycle, from sales hand‑off through delivery, support, and continuous improvement, while driving profitable growth and high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Professional Services practice against agreed metrics and set the vision for its evolution.
• Own the portfolio of software implementations, staffing, resourcing, and utilization targets.
• Develop and deliver revenue forecasts in partnership with the executive team and ensure targets are met.
• Serve as escalation point for customers and collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams on technical and strategic matters.
• Coach, mentor, and develop managers and early‑career leaders to build a high‑performing, cohesive team.

Required profile

• 10+ years in Professional Services with at least 7 years leading a practice and managing P&L.
• Proven ability to scale teams, standardize processes, and handle escalations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills in both English and French.
• Experience guiding teams through forming, storming, and performing stages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JIRA and Tempo for agile project tracking.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Creatio and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Technical knowledge of APIs, ETL processes, middleware, C# and JavaScript.
