Director of Global HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a talented, collaborative leader with a service‑oriented mindset to join our Global HR team as Director of Global HR Business Partner. Reporting to the Head of HR Global Functions, you will support Global Functions and oversee HR operations for Canada, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, employee relations, and our values.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to define and execute HR priorities that align with business strategy, culture, and values.
• Advise executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and talent development.
• Identify people‑related risks and opportunities, providing clear recommendations.
• Lead HR management for all Global Canadian employees, supporting managers and employees in resolving complex HR issues.
• Interpret and apply HR policies, programs, and guidelines, ensuring effective communication and delivery of HR services.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise to deliver consistent, high‑quality global HR services.
• Drive change‑management initiatives, including organizational transformations, and advise on HR implications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader with a strong strategic advisory capability.
• Demonstrated ability to work across global functions and support senior executives.
• Experience managing HR operations for a large, geographically dispersed workforce.
• Track record of leading change‑management and transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of Canadian employment legislation and global HR best practices.
