Director, Franchise Business Partner

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a dynamic leader to drive its Franchise business across Canada. Reporting to the Canada Leadership team, you will shape strategy, enable new customer segments and ensure the ecosystem operates securely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Franchise‑related activities in Canada, including performance monitoring, compliance, and customer training.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract new participants and expand existing relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design innovative payment solutions across traditional, digital and multi‑rail channels.
• Address customer inquiries on Mastercard Franchise Standards and promote continuous improvement.
• Drive ecosystem performance optimization and act as the primary liaison between Mastercard and its Canadian partners.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in payments, financial services or related B2B environments.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with a track record of building lasting partnerships.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends into actionable initiatives.
