Director, Finance (Control & Performance)

About the role

Charton Hobbs Group is seeking a Director, Finance (Control & Performance) to provide strategic leadership in financial governance, business performance, and continuous operational improvement. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee the integrity of financial information, manage the full accounting cycle, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls, while partnering with internal teams to drive decision‑making and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly accounting activities and prepare financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, margins, costs and key performance indicators.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial reporting quality.
• Support analysis of margins, costs, inventory and profitability drivers.

Required profile

• CPA designation.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Strong experience in accounting, finance, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Business Central financial system.
