Direct Buyer – Procurement & Sourcing

About the role

BRP is seeking a Direct Buyer to join the Global Sourcing team and support the development of new products. Reporting to the Global Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding BRP’s product range by leveraging your supply‑chain expertise and building strong partnerships with international suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key material and service categories.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and strategic suppliers to develop new components.
• Negotiate and ensure compliance with supplier agreements, including lead times, cost structures, raw‑material fluctuations, and exchange rates.
• Manage the budget for your parts portfolio and keep cost prices regularly updated.
• Monitor market cost trends and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience or education in procurement, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written); Spanish is an asset.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Windows operating environment.
• Hands‑on experience using SAP for procurement processes.
