Digital Press Operator – Evening Shift

About the role

The Digital Press Operator works the evening shift to run, calibrate and maintain HP Indigo 200K and 25K wide‑web presses. The role ensures high‑quality print output, maximises machine uptime and supports downstream departments such as lamination and slitting.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the Indigo press, load material rolls and optimise run times.
• Perform colour calibration and monitor print quality throughout production.
• Verify job tickets and specifications before each run.
• Execute daily and weekly maintenance; report equipment issues to the Lead Press Operator and coordinate service calls with HP technical support.
• Enter production, consumption and waste data into Microsoft NAV ERP.
• Supply printed film rolls to the lamination department and keep the pressroom clean and organised.
• Assist other areas of the operation (pouch assembly, slitting, lamination) when required.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience operating HP Indigo digital presses (200K or 25K preferred).
• Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude, including the ability to read measurement tools.
• Computer literacy for completing production documentation on both digital and paper forms.
