DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a remote contract basis. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD infrastructure at scale.
• Manage Jenkins instances on Kubernetes (EKS preferred), including JCasC, shared libraries, plugins, and Groovy pipelines.
• Maintain EC2 fleets, AMI pipelines, auto‑scaling groups, spot instances, and agent lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows, reusable workflows, self‑hosted runners, and OIDC federation to AWS.
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on‑call rotation to support production systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store).
• Proven track record running Jenkins at scale and integrating it with Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Groovy.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using both Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Willingness to work on‑call shifts covering all hours of the day.
