DevOps Engineer – Remote (Canada, PST timezone)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely within Canada, working on Pacific Standard Time. The role focuses on managing bare‑metal server infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring high‑performance operations in a data‑center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Provide 24x7x365 on‑call support for production systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Grafana, Splunk, and PagerDuty.
• Monitor and tune Linux kernel performance for optimal data‑center operations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals, performance analysis, and tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with bare‑metal server infrastructure and OpenStack.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Ability to work in a PST timezone and participate in an on‑call rotation.
