DevOps Engineer

About the role

Syncredible Solutions is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, provision, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The role focuses on serverless architectures and automating application delivery through CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure efficient, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for repeatable environment provisioning.
• Ensure cloud environments are scalable, secure, cost‑efficient, and compliant.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise reliability.
• Maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and secure configuration management.
• Provide project timelines, effort estimates, and contribute to planning milestones.
• Document infrastructure and processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS services, especially serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and scalability principles.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and provide realistic project timelines.
