DevOps Engineer

About the role

Fittico is seeking a full‑time DevOps Engineer with at least five years of experience to join its remote team. You will work closely with product, development, and QA teams to design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and maintain AWS‑based infrastructures and enforce security best practices.
• Create, maintain and enhance CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or TeamCity.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Ansible and manage container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
• Develop monitoring, alerting and performance‑tracking solutions for production environments.
• Collaborate with internal customers to understand platform needs and build productivity tools.
• Document processes, standards and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience automating infrastructure in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and solid understanding of networking protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Serbian language is a plus.
• Passion for DevOps, SRE and security best practices with a continuous learning mindset.

• Knowledge of NixOS (desirable)
