DevOps Engineer – Bare‑Metal, Terraform, Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain bare‑metal server infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes. The role is fully remote within Canada and operates on Pacific Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage bare‑metal server environments and OpenStack integrations.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible and related tools.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
• Perform Linux kernel performance analysis, tuning and troubleshooting in data‑center settings.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Participate in a 24 × 7 × 365 on‑call rotation supporting production systems.

Required profile

• Familiarity with AWS, bare‑metal server infrastructure and OpenStack.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals, performance analysis and tuning.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with DevOps toolchain including Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Grafana, Splunk and PagerDuty.
• Willingness to work on‑call in PST timezone.
