About the role

We are looking for a Shopify Plus Developer to lead the technical implementation of DAVIDsTEA.com as part of a major platform redesign. Reporting to the Digital Commerce Director, you will work across the full technology stack to deliver a modern, mobile‑first e‑commerce experience.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign the entire Shopify Horizon theme with a clean, SEO‑optimized heading structure.
• Update homepage, product detail pages, collection pages and content pages based on Figma mockups.
• Coordinate with freelance designers and developers to transfer designs into functional code.
• Implement mobile‑first solutions optimized for Core Web Vitals.
• Configure Shopify Search & Discovery, including custom filters.
• Develop a personalized customer account experience using Customer Accounts Extensibility.
• Create a unified view for orders, subscriptions, loyalty programs and preferences.
• Integrate subscription, loyalty and email/SMS communication ecosystems.
• Build UI Extensions and manage custom UI components.
• Design and maintain a branded customer preference center.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex Shopify Plus projects.
• Strong front‑end development skills with a focus on performance and SEO.
• Ability to collaborate closely with brand, marketing and agency partners.
• Self‑motivated and capable of managing a roadmap of ambitious development tasks.
