About the role

CGI Montréal is seeking a passionate Frontend JavaScript Developer to create data‑driven dashboards, widgets, and web solutions that directly support business decisions. You will work on‑site in downtown Montreal, collaborating with international teams and translating business needs into functional, visual tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards using internal low‑code tools with charts and metrics.
• Build reusable JavaScript widgets that consume REST APIs to display real‑time data.
• Implement data collection and processing using internal ETL tools and write SQL scripts for data retrieval.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests in line with the team’s testing strategy.
• Partner with Business Analysts to define technical solutions and create mockups.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot bugs, and deliver fixes.
• Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in JavaScript web development.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and bilingual in French and English.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in an international environment.
