Development Leader, Transverse Engineering

About the role

The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking a Development Leader for Transverse Engineering to join the Engineering team in Mirabel, near Montreal. You will drive the implementation of engineering teams and product development processes, aligning local practices with Airbus global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and rigorous application of the Product Development Process (PDP) for major developments within Airbus Canada engineering.
• Synchronize local engineering processes with global Airbus standards to ensure a unified engineering framework.
• Establish and guide engineering teams, overseeing product development and engineering cost planning in collaboration with senior engineering leadership.
• Drive performance improvement, skill development, and innovative project initiatives across the Transverse Engineering function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aerospace engineering.
• Background in business project management.
• Strong desire to evolve and acquire new competencies.
