Design Engineer – System Integration & NPI

About the role

Join BETA Technologies as a Design Engineer focused on system integration and new product introduction (NPI) for electric aircraft. You will contribute to all design phases, from concept through certification, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 3D and 2D aircraft‑level drawings, interface control documents (ICDs) and skeleton models.
• Review detailed designs, installations and interfaces, and develop solutions for structural joints.
• Support special R&D projects, first‑article inspections, and conformity/certification activities.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality and procurement teams and participate in design reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Technologist level in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace experience with strong knowledge of industry specifications.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE and other CAD tools.
