Delivery Lead – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Delivery Lead to drive value‑focused delivery for a large‑scale insurance program. This remote contractor role works closely with both IT and business teams, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of project outcomes, influencing teams without formal authority.
• Facilitate the project team, ask critical questions, and create space for problem‑solving.
• Maintain accurate, realistic plans in Planview and Smartsheet, mapping epics to milestones.
• Surface risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies early and keep RIDD logs up‑to‑date.
• Provide clear, weekly status reports tailored to technical and senior business audiences.
• Adapt communication style to stakeholders, ensuring no surprises and aligning expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large insurance‑domain programs using Agile methodologies.
• Strong program‑management background with the ability to read political landscapes and build stakeholder trust.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complexity into clarity.
• Self‑starter who anticipates risks and stays several steps ahead of the project timeline.
