Delivery Driver

About the role

Manna European Bakery & Deli is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to transport food products to customers throughout St. John’s and surrounding areas. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries while providing professional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver bakery items.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers.
• Receive dispatch instructions and relay information as needed.
• Prepare, package, and restock goods for delivery.
• Load and unload items weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Use maps and trip‑planning tools to optimise routes.
• Record mileage, fuel costs and any issues encountered.
• Handle payments for goods and issue receipts.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Valid Class 5/5F/G driver’s licence.
• First Aid certification.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in an urban setting.
• Client‑focused, reliable and a strong team player.
• Flexible schedule with availability for early‑morning, day, weekend and on‑call shifts.
