Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Data Science and Advanced Analytics team within the Technology function of Coke Canada Bottling. The role supports high‑impact, data‑driven initiatives across commercial strategy, sales execution and operations, turning analytical insights into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Apply statistical and machine‑learning techniques to solve business problems in demand forecasting, pricing and product optimization.
• Develop and improve analytical models that capture demand drivers and price elasticity, ensuring insights are reliable and business‑relevant.
• Build tools and analytical processes that enhance trade‑spend effectiveness and promotional performance.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate exploratory analysis into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects such as demand modeling, promotion and trade‑spend optimization, pricing elasticity analysis, network and inventory optimization, and scenario modeling.

Required profile

• Proven experience applying statistical and machine‑learning methods to business problems.
• Ability to develop, validate and maintain analytical models that support decision‑making.
• Experience building analytical tools and processes that improve commercial outcomes.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with stakeholders across commercial strategy, sales and operations.

• Hybrid work schedule (minimum three days onsite per week).
• Base salary range $82,800 – $115,000 CAD per year.
