Data Privacy Analyst – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Data Privacy Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help safeguard personally identifiable information (PII) in financial documents and systems, ensuring strict compliance with global data protection regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to PII in financial documents and digital platforms.
• Apply GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection laws to all data handling practices.
• Review and redact sensitive financial documents such as CIMs, financial statements, and contracts using industry‑standard privacy tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document robust data‑privacy protocols across workflows.
• Assess documents for indirect identifiers and provide recommendations to strengthen privacy controls.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with PII compliance in finance or corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA and their application to financial data.
• Proven ability to handle and redact sensitive documents accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating privacy requirements into actionable practices.
• Experience managing confidential workflows within financial systems.
