Data Entry Clerk – Fintech Remote

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote fintech team. You will ensure financial and transactional data is accurately captured, validated and ready for compliance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter, validate, and cross‑check financial and transactional data into internal systems and client platforms.
• Flag discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing fields and escalate to supervisors.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with data security and privacy standards (PIPEDA, internal governance).
• Support month‑end reporting cycles by ensuring timely, error‑free data uploads and backups.
• Collaborate with finance and compliance teams to improve data input templates and reduce rework.
• Meet daily/weekly KPIs for volume, accuracy and turnaround time, tracked via shared dashboards.

Required profile

• Proficiency with MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data validation) and Google Sheets.
• Typing speed of 60+ WPM with at least 99% accuracy.
• Experience with data validation and reconciliation.
• Awareness of PIPEDA or data‑privacy compliance.
• Experience entering data into CRM/ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Salesforce or similar.
• Comfortable using remote‑work tools (Slack, Zoom, Asana, Trello).
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
