Data Entry Clerk – Buying Department

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Buying Department in Laval. The role supports purchasing operations by maintaining accurate product data, handling purchase orders and liaising with stores and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter new product information and generate SKUs in the inventory system.
• Maintain existing product records, including price updates and discontinued items.
• Upload product details and images in both French and English for the Content Department.
• Ensure product updates appear correctly on the website, store sell sheets, and signage.
• Keep product specification sheets and description manuals up to date.
• Prepare, create and enter new and replenishment purchase orders.
• Confirm purchase orders and arrange price tickets for suppliers when needed.
• Communicate with stores and suppliers to coordinate orders and resolve inquiries.
• Prepare advertised products, coordinate samples for photo shoots, and support supplier photography.
• Generate reports for the Product Manager and prepare store advisements for upcoming advertising events.

Required profile

• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Team player who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Retail sales experience or knowledge of housewares products preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with sound judgment.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both written and oral) required.
