Data Entry and Customer Care Representative

About the role

Speedy Transport Group Inc., one of Canada’s largest privately‑held carriers, is seeking a Data Entry and Customer Care Representative to support its operational processes in Brampton. The role combines administrative data‑entry tasks with direct customer interaction to ensure smooth shipment handling.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative activities related to manifesting loads and processing shipments to brokers.
• Prioritize work, meet shipment deadlines, and handle customer inquiries, account maintenance, and service applications.
• Research, follow up, and resolve customer problems, including confirming deliveries and answering pick‑up calls.
• Trace and produce proof of delivery (P.O.D.) documents and call customers to confirm unsigned bills.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for courteous interaction with staff and the public.
