Data Engineer – Databricks, Snowflake & Python

About the role
Join Capgemini's technology team to design and build data‑intensive applications that support global regulatory reporting. You will work on a front‑to‑back initiative to re‑platform key data streams, ensuring accurate, auditable outputs for finance and control functions.
Key responsibilities
- Consolidate data sourcing, integration and verification across control functions.
- Onboard and configure Axiom solution templates for regulatory reports (e.g., 14A, DFAST, SEC, Brazil DLO).
- Analyse platform hygiene and DevOps gaps, define and execute remediation plans.
- Implement and optimise business logic and data transformations using Scala and Spark, with a focus on testing and performance.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI reports and data‑quality reconciliations.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including automated testing and shared library development.
- Drive standardisation and architecture discussions across the team.
Required profile
- Strong technical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to work across the full stack of applications.
- Understanding of development best practices and system architecture.
- Preferable experience in regulatory accounting, finance or control functions.
