Data Center Construction Supervisor / Lead

About the role

The Data Centers group is seeking a field‑based Construction Supervisor / Lead to manage on‑site activities for data‑center projects across Canada. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical and technology infrastructure crews, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute construction work in line with drawings, specifications, budgets and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain construction timelines, optimizing manpower, materials and equipment.
• Manage subcontractors, track production, and keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Lead project execution planning, kick‑off meetings, contract reviews and incorporate data‑center commissioning milestones.
• Maintain the company’s quality management program alongside the on‑site Quality Representative.
• Use the Change Management System to close RFIs and change orders promptly.
• Mentor and train crews on safety, quality and procedural compliance.
• Prepare daily reports, work plans and crew timesheets.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections and equipment scheduling.

Required profile

• Journeyperson Electrician designation (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of construction experience, preferably on data‑center or large‑facility projects.
• Proven ability to lead up to 50 workers across multiple trades.
• Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
