Data Analyst – Driver Earnings Team

About the role

Join Lyft’s Driver Earnings team as a Data Analyst and help shape the financial performance of our driver earnings products. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to analyze existing products, uncover insights, and drive strategic recommendations that improve marketplace outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide world‑class analysis, product recommendations, and reporting for marketplace operations.
• Become an expert on marketplace trends and support weekly reporting for the Rideshare organization.
• Develop domain expertise in driver earnings levers and support initiatives to improve or launch new products.
• Analyze product and financial levers, delivering actionable insights to cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare regular business reviews for leadership, highlighting key focus areas.
• Track, report, and reconcile budget allocations across marketplace programs.
• Synthesize data, research, and feedback into process improvements and playbooks.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a high‑growth environment performing data or financial analytics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and experience building processes that reduce human error.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with the ability to dive into large data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings to varied audiences.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
