Cycle Counter – Fly‑In/Fly‑Out Day Shift (Contract)

About the role

Ryder System is seeking a Cycle Counter to join its Fly‑In/Fly‑Out team on a 7‑days‑on/7‑days‑off schedule. The position is based at the Fort Hills site with initial paid training in Edmonton. This is a day‑shift, contract role focused on accurate inventory cycle counting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform warehouse cycle‑counting activities and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Pick, pack, audit, and stage products according to performance guidelines.
• Load and unload trucks, handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Maintain compliance with contract performance metrics and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow procedures under pressure.
• Physical capability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lb and stand for extended periods.
