Cyber Security Consultant II

About the role

Bell is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant II to support the security of its fibre, HSPA+, and LTE network operations. The role works within Bell’s security environments, ensuring secure, reliable services for customers while participating in 24/7 incident response when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily customer requests for changes to security infrastructure.
• Prepare, implement, and verify changes to firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and identity access management solutions.
• Review and interpret security alerts, diagnose incidents, and coordinate mitigation actions.
• Configure, install, manage, and maintain security devices while advising on best‑practice security measures.
• Provide on‑call support after hours and contribute to the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) for forensic investigations.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Computer Science or equivalent 5 + years of industry experience.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and troubleshooting authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit mechanisms.
• Proven ability to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls from multiple vendors.
• Experience with SD‑WAN solutions and daily security operations.
