Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Imperial Building Products Ltd is seeking a motivated Customer Service Specialist for its steel stud plant in Etobicoke. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while supporting distribution partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for distribution partners placing orders with IBP.
• Receive, process purchase orders and respond to customer inquiries promptly, maintaining high quality.
• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal departments.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on product‑specific initiatives and information gathering.
• Meet individual and team operational metrics defined in the Customer Service scorecard.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field (significant experience may substitute).
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑service abilities.
• People‑ and results‑oriented with a focus on safety and quality.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently with urgency.
