Customer Service Representative – Personal Line Insurance

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a family‑owned insurance brokerage in the Markham/GTA area. You will handle policy changes, answer client inquiries, and support producers without the pressure of cold‑calling.

Key responsibilities

• Process policy amendments and respond to client questions confidently.
• Assist producers with servicing tasks and referrals.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive service.
• Ask targeted questions to identify client needs.
• Utilise major carrier platforms and modern insurance systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years brokerage experience (excluding direct writers).
• RIBO licence with strong auto and home insurance knowledge.
• Resident of Markham or the Greater Toronto Area for reliable hybrid attendance.
• Advisor‑mindset focused on client solutions.

Required skills

• PowerBroker (preferred; training provided for the right candidate).
