Customer Service Representative

About the role

BlueStone Properties is seeking a part‑time Customer Service Representative to support the daily operations of its award‑winning self‑storage facility, Storage Worx. Working 25 hours per week on a variable schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, you will deliver friendly service, maintain a clean and secure environment, and help build positive tenant relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of on‑site equipment, grounds, and facilities.
• Rent U‑Haul trucks and assist with maintenance of storage equipment as needed.
• Complete opening procedures, including facility walk‑throughs, bathroom cleaning, and parking lot checks.
• Secure the facility at closing, handling cash and daily close procedures.
• Assist with leasing of storage units, collect rent and other payments.
• Support marketing activities, on‑site events, and purchase supplies as directed.

Required profile

• Experience in cleaning, light facility or equipment maintenance.
• Background in sales, customer service, or storage leasing.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s licence and automotive insurance.
• Proficiency with computers and smartphones; fluent spoken and written English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb, sit for extended periods, and perform cleaning duties.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Pass a criminal background check.
